Hello Debbie, The branch of the family that I am a member comes from South Mimms in Hertfordshire, UK. There are many plaques,e tc in the local church dated around 16th Century. I have a family tree of Ewers that goes back to the time of Henry 7th. They made some interesting marriages during the centuries - my side has finished as we were all daughters! However maybe Sarah came from South Mimms
