I am looking for information about James Ewer. He was my grandfather (he adopted my mother after marrying my grandmother). I don't believe he had any children.
He was in the Army Air Corp during World War II and was shot down over Germany. He spent some time in a prisoner of war camp. I believe he was married at the time but later divorced.
He married Ann Tischhauser and adopted my mother, Anna Jean Ewer.
He and my grandmother were divorced somewhere around 1958. He later married a woman named Edith, although I don't know her maiden name.
James died around 1986 in a car accident.
