Exner's from Germany

I just discovered this site tonight! I am married to Anthony Joseph Exner. We are in Indiana. His father is Larry Lee Exner, grandfather is James Exner. His great grandfather came over from Germany in the 30's or 40's and was an architect. According to family history he invented the first unsupported spiral staircase. He owned a great deal of land in southern Indiana and donated it to a state park. I did notice that my sister in law Jane had been here last year but don't think she got much feed back. Anyone have any ideas of any other ancestors based on this let me know. I do have a book on history from here but not sure how accurate it is. Will find out names when I get a chance.
