Hi, My Charles was born in Wurtemburg,South Germany,also know as Alsace Lorraine, Black Forest on April 6,1827. He came to the U.S. as a young man, He married Margareta Neff in Ct. She also came from Germany,they had 3 children, Pauline, Charles and Francesca.Margareta died abt. 1857, and charles married a Emma Cheever.
