Jacob and Willaim Faber, Friesland

Jacob Faber, b. 1837 in Friesland, ran away from home and (along with his brother, William Faber) stowed away on a ship to the US in 1845. Jacob was just 8 years old! At some point, the brothers were separated. By 1850, Jacob was living as a foster child with the Cyrus Lawson family in Macomb, Illinois. Jacob served in the Civil War and later moved to Kansas, where he married and raised a family. Looking for info on William Faber--somewhere in the US --- and the Faber family in Friesland.
