I do not have any information of the Pierre & family. I do not know the parents or brothers and sisters of John Faber my greatgrand father. I think he had a brother that stayed in Luxembourg who's name was Johann Jakol Faber. One of his son's was George Faber of Echternach, Luxembourg. I found a letter from George Faber in my Grand unlce's papers who was also named George Faber. I do not have any link to Nicholas Faber and can not find one. I will try to check out this connection. It seems to be a good lead.
I had seen the name in the Census information of Cook County. John Faber is in 1860 Census living in Lake, in Cook County,Ill. with his wife and 4 children. John moved to Kankakee in around 1867 where he started Faber Floral. His two sons John and George took over the business changing the name to Faber Brothers. My grandfather John was more involved in the truck-gardening why George was involed with the selling of flowers. By grandfather's first wife Annie M Young Faber had ties to the truck-gardeners in south Chicago however I do not have any names or information on them. If you have any information connecting Nicholas Faber to John B. Faber please provide it to me. This would be a great help since I have ran into a dead end. Thanks for your help. Bob
