John, I think you mean Faber from Friesland (Fryslan), the Dutch Province. Try the Dutch website It's the Frisian Archive in which you can find all the necessary information. Even in English! and check for your immigration information.

(doing investigations in the USA for Systze Faber, and his spouse Antje Leen, which went in 1893 to Grand Rapids,Mich.
and a year later they emigrated again to Argentina (probably to a Mennonite community)
