The Fabert family that married into the Doege family line and came to America, were from the Zachasberg, Kolmar and Samotschin area of Posen, Prussia. They first settled in Wisconsin and then finally on to Faribault County, Minn.
I have found the Faber/Fabert name in the old records from the above mentioned areas of Posen.
