My son Marc has an error here. Aunt Ruth was not Woody's sister. She was his aunt on his mother's side. She married John McElwee (Champaign County Recorder) Her mother was Lydia Jane Lewis.
Woody's only sister was Lucille.
In a previous post, I erroneously said that Montel won a silver star in WWII. Marc's information is correct.
