Im not sure who you meant for that message to find, but it warmed by heart to see it. John Fabian was my great great grandfather. Heinrich Fabian and Sophie Fink were my great great great grandparents and they met in New Orleans. Heinrich came to New Orleans at the age of 14 from Bavaria and Sophie was from Alcace-Lorraine. They had a coffee house on Chartres House street on the edge of what was later known as Storyville. After John and Mary came Harry who married Elsie Wright, then my grandmother Gloria who had my father, but he kept the Fabian name. Im working on writing a novel about this family, so if anyone comes up with more..please tell me. This family has such a colorful history, but to the best of my knowlege the line ends with my generation...my father had three daughters and his only male cousin to have children had three daughters as well. its nice to see that maybe there is more family somewhere.
