Thank you very much for posting. How wonderful. You are my 3rd cousin, once removed. You would be my mother's 3rd cousin, as your Julius Fabiansen and my Maria Katherine Fabiansen were brother and sister. Your Julius was the youngest of 13 children. My Maria Katherine was the oldest daughter and third child. Here is what I know thus far: Maria Katherine Fabiansen (and Julius Fabiansen) were the children of Martinus Nicolai Fabiansen; b. Nov. 26, 1819 in Aalborg, Denmark. He married Marie Catherine Wilson May 8, 1848 in Budolfi, Aalborg, Denmark, daughter of Peder Wilson and Maria Jensdatter. She was born June 26, 1829 in Aalborg, Denmark. Martinus' father was Jens Olesen Fabiansen; b. 1791 in Budolfi, Aalborg, Denmark. He married Anne Catherine Johansdatter Tribler on November 11, 1814 in Budolfi, Aalborg, Denmark. She was b. April 21, 1795 in Aalborg, Denmark. Her parents were Johan Gabrielsen; b. abt. 1758 in Budolfi, Aalborg, Denmark. He married Christiane Pedersen on August 23, 1782 in Budolfi, Aalborg, Denmark. Johan's father was Gabriel Tribler, born abt. 1716 in Budolfi, Aalborg, Denmark. He married Elizabeth ________ about 1757 in Budolfi, Aalborg, Denmark. Do you know anything about what the Fabiansens did, what their families were like, etc? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. You are the first Fabiansen cousin I have found. I do have information on some of the other wives' families if you are interested; e.g., Marie Wilson. Her father was Peder Rothe Wilson, whose parents were Lars Englebretsen and Anne Birgitte Smit of Aalborg. BTW: Your Julius was born November 23, 1862. My e-mail is: sarcher@davesworld.net if you wish to use this means of communication. Fr. Scott Archer
