Archibal Fassett (Facette??) appears in the Clarendon, Rutland Co VT census: 1 male under 5; 3 males 5-10; 1 male 30 - 40
females: 2 under 5; 1 20-30

I believe he could be the father of Alphonsine and Amanda Fassett who lived in Rutland Co and are listed in the 1850 Rutland census with their mother Orpha and her second husband Asaph Buswell. Orpha was born in N.H. and Archibal Fassett may also have been born there. One source claims Orpha's maiden name was Barber.

Any help finding more clues to this Archibal Fassett would be appreciated.
