Checking for information on behalf of Dorothy Pollard in New Zealand -
Anybody knows anything about Loena Facy, born approx. 1890 – came from Sutton Town (a farm) near Launceston, Cornwall. She was nursing in London during the 1st World War. A cousin in England wrote and told Dorothy Pollard nee Ford in New Zealand that Leona had a baby out of wedlock! This baby could be Dorothy age! Dorothy born in 1922 and Dorothy would like to contact her and her family before its too late.
Loena Facy’s sister name: Ivy Facy born 18th July 1888, came out to New Zealand in 1914. Her passage was booked before the War and came out with friends, married John Ford in 1916. Ivy Ford nee Facy died in 1982 aged 94. Dorothy’s Mother.
Loena and Ivy Facy’s aunt’s name : Loena Chubb!
