Looks like we are related! My Great-Great Grandfather was the Samuel Wolf who married Hanna Fackenthal. Your information on Philip Fackenthal who married Elizabeth Bleyler in 1753 is an exact match with my information.
Unfortunately, I don't have any information prior to Philip.
The first Wolf to come to America was John George Wolf, who was born in Wittenberg, Saxony. He had a second wife named Catharine Clay who bore a son (Samuel Wolf) onboard ship while traveling to the US in 1821. This is the Samuel who married Hanna Fackenthal.
Samuel and Hanna had four children; William, Dorothy, Mary Catharine and Samuel F.
Which one of these offspring are you descended from?
Samuel F. (my Great Grandfather) was born 5/5/1860 died 8/17/1930 and was married to Elizabeth Bryan.
