I am a descendent of Peter Fackler, born Dec. 26, 1795, in Washington County, Maryland, or at least that's what some records say as to place. We are sure of his birthdate as his tombstone is in the Reformed Church Cemetery in Cavetown, Washington County, Maryland. It contains the birth date, which also appears other places. However, we have had no success in finding who his parents were, although we think that he is a descendent of Micahael Fackler. Your site says that Michael married Susanna after his wife's death in 1791. Is it possible that Michael and Susanna had a son, Peter, in 1795? Or could Peter have been an illegitimate son of one of Michael's daughters? I'd appreciate any information that anyone has on this.
