Previously I had learned that an Edward Fackerell was a soldier in Co. I, 2nd Michigan Infantry. Edward and his wife, Theresa, later lived in Colorado. I take it these are your great-grandparents.

What I don't know is where and when this Edward was born. If he was born in New York State, then he is probably in my family. If you can locate Edward on the 1880 or 1900 census, it would give some needed information.

John Fackerell, born in England, married Jane Clements, born in Ireland. Bible record shows four children, but I only have been able to successfully trace one daughter so far. One of the sons was named Edward.
