Hello Douglas

It seems from your fascinating contribution on this Forum that you are the most widely informed descendant of James Fackrell on the history of that Family.

I am therefore contacting you first, to let you know that I am posting the following message to each of the eight different descendants who have posted notices on this Forum : -

"It seems possible that all or most of those who have posted notices on this webpage are descendants of James Fackrell (1781-1867)of North Petherton and his wife, Joanna (née Bradford) who emigrated to America.

Firstly, I should explain that I have no connection with the Fackrell Family, but while assisting a friend to trace her Fackrell ancestors I found some information which I believe may be new to Fackrell Family History and of considerable interest to all descendants. Unfortunately, the ‘evidence’ is contained in several maps and a photograph taken in North Petherton, which, due to the format, I am unable to post on this website.

I am therefore sending this message to each of the eight different persons who have posted notices on this webpage.

If you would like to contact me by e-mail I will be happy to e-mail you all the information together with the maps and photograph as .jpg attachments.

My e-mail address is : -
david.schenck@virgin.net

Douglas, please note that in order to limit the size of the message files, I will probably have to divide the attachments among two or three separate e-mail messages.

I look forward with great interest to hearing from you

David
