I don't have much info on Edward Fackerell. I think that he was born around 1831. It may be 1839. His father was John. It is said that he either was born in England or his family had come from England.Some family members think that he lived in New York state for some time.Edward seems to have been in the Civil War before going to Colorado. He married Teressa Bassett in Boulder, Colorado in 1865. He died in Cripple Creek, Colorado.One of his sons was Lloyd who was my grandfather. I would love to know more about Edward's origins, but haven't found much yet. I also would love to know what the derivation of the name Fackerell is. Any theories on that? THank you so much for your time. I appreciate it!
