I don't know how far Quincy is from Mt.Sterling, but my Factors came from ALsace Lorraine (France at that time) and came to Coshocton Co.,OHIO and then settled in Mt. Sterling, Brown, ILL. They are:
Mathias FACTOR b.1795 Alsace-Lorraine M)Margaret b)1797 also in Alsace-Lorraine. They had:
Mathias FACTOR b.1821 A-L, m)1847 Coshocton,OH d)1885 Mt. Sterling,IL. He m)Barbara WINEMAN b)1817/1818 A-L, d)1910 Mt.Sterling,IL. They had:
Magdalene FACTOR b)1848 Franklin,Coshocton,OH m)1866 Franklin, OH, d)1921 Apache,Caddo,OK. She m)Antoine ERMAN b)1834 Steinbourg, Bas-Rhin, Savern, France d)1912 Apache,Caddo, OK.
There were sons in all generations, and I haven't found your particular people, but I have a Benjamin FACTOR who married a Katherine ASHBACHER.
