Hi, thanks for that information. My grandmother Mary Regina Factor, went to a german school, and spoke german as a child so maybe there is a connection there. Her mothers name was Sara, so maybe she married, John Henry or Frances, as my grandmother second son was named Frances. What dates are we talking about?
My father thought the family was from Springfield, or Mt Sterling, Ill is that close to you?
