Barbara, Nov 7, 2000 I answered you in length as well as one prior email prior to that and I think a couple of others. Calvary Cemetery is located on Vine Ave, Knoxville, TN. and I think that part of Vine is now called Martin Luther King St/Hwy? Almost down town.
I thought we were going to exchange information.Daniel Fagan married Hannah Ridley prior to coming to TN and from the census records in appears it could have been VA. Hannah Ridley is buried Calvary Cemetery, Knoxville, TN. One dau. was born in VA., Lillie. Daniel is not buried Calvary Knoxville.
Coalfield is not at all familiar to me. I know Fagan's married Donohoe's I explained some of those marriages. There is a source for everything. Geo Wm Fagan died in Knoxville TN June 1893 his res. was Vine Ave.The large monument with the date of bith as 1812 could work very well. At least two men named Ambrose Fagan, Ambrose Francis Fagan near the large monument and his wife was Elizabeth Mankel. Ambrose Daniel Fagain and his wife Hannah Ridley.
No divorces as far as I know.
My late father's grandmother, Elizabeth Georgiana Fagan wife of William O'Brien Kinnane is also buried Calvary Cemetery, although the exast location has never been found, we do have other records.
I never knew if you received the information or not. Ann Poe
I did not mail copies of vital records, cemetery records, I thought I might learn some of the information on Ambrose D. Fagan and this George Fagan (& others).
I have photographs, I have only my originals and the negatives.Rather than have all these photographs copied and mail to you. I thought you might tell me which ones, I think I photographed the whole cemetery and will probably go back this spring.I was shocked to learn the cost of prints. These are in color and most color does fade. Which is just to expensive. I did make more in Calvary Cemetery in black and white and it appears most photo developers no longer develop black and white although one did here and no more of that. Other than ones I choose. Ann
