Coalfield Cemetery & Fagan Cemetery

One of our members has written several times about a Geo Fagan, Ambrose Fagan, Daniel Fagan. She is trying to make a connection to the Fagan's in Knox Co TN (many Fagan's were there). All the names fit the ones in Knoxville. I would be pleased to help her if she would send me some dates.

She stated on the Forum that her "Mother's Mother was Ida Grant Nighbert and she married a William Anderson Fagan in COALFIELD.

She mentions "marble yards in both Knoxville, Coalfield, on "Tar Hill". Knoxvile had "marble yards" for many years. Some of the most beautiful marble came from Hawkins Co., TN. I have never heard of Coalfield or "Tar Hill".

I am from Knoxville, TN. as are my ancestors for a few eons. We live in FL now.

I sent the lady considerable information.

Would someone please try and put this in some order? The Fagan's in Athen's? were perhaps a younger group? Coalfield, the only Coalfield I can find is in the Anderson Co TN region with several other counties and as most of us know that is where the horrible coal mine accident happened (I think that is correct, correct me if wrong).

Would really appreciate any help, thank you.
