Fagin/Fagins - our family name
Posted by: patricia fagin scott (ID *****3414) Date: June 16, 2002 at 14:48:01

Vincent Thomas Fagins, my paternal grandfather came from Bristol, Tennessee with his wife Victoria and their nine children, six males and three females, to find work in Washington, D.C. All of their children were reared and educated in Washington, D.C. They married, had children and remained in the Washington, D.C. area. So many of us, there are twenty-eight first cousins are also here today (June 16, 2002). The family name has survived as FAGIN and FAGINS. We were always told about our Irish heritage. More information about the branches of a very large tree would be enriching.
