Fagundes Family Genealogy Forum

Hi, Tulio... remember that before 1509 there was no one Fagundes in Brazil... ;-)
Opposite to the general idea, those years anyway had LOTS of people movement... South or North Brazil make no difference those years... Maybe your ancestors dont came in registered first ships (as Canarian first families to Montevideo in 1727) but you'll be able to trace them from family comments and birth certificates. Since there was not "ID Cards" people registered his own names, as also parents and grandparents, with place of origin. Try to ask your local Civil Register and I'm sure you'll have nice surprises...
Good luck and best regards,
Martin
