Holly: There is a book titled, "NOVATO TOWNSHIP, Land Grant to World War II", authored by May Rodgers Ungemach. In there is much information about Antonio DeBorba, Sr. and his wife Anna Machado DeBorba's family. It could be of interest to you. Also, the Novato Historical Society has been great about finding information for me about my great-aunt Rose Fagundes who married one of the DeBorba's sons, Joseph. The Society might be able to help you with the reading of the Portuguese writing. Good luck with your
quest. Ginny
