Richard Fahey/Fahy & Helen Silk

Patrick Fahey immigrated to St. Louis, Missouri in 1870 working as a dairyman. He may have changed his surname from Fahy to Fahey. His parents were Richard Fahy/Fahey and Helen Silk. According to family tradition, Patrick's wife, Mary Walsh gave birth to their daughter Mary Ellen on the voyage. The ship is said to have docked briefly in Liverpool to allow her to give birth. I am very interested in learning more about Richard Fahey/Fahy and Helen Silk who would have married before 1837 when Patrick was born.

Please respond here or e-mail directly at FsJFOSTER@aol.com.

Regards,
Jim Foster
