Fahey of Maryland/W. Virginia

I'm looking for information on John Fahey (b.c.1824, Ireland) and his wife Bridget (b.c.1833, Ireland). Census records track this couple and thier family from Allegany Co., Maryland (1860) to Wetzel Co., West Virginia (1870/1880). They were born in Ireland and had 10 children (listed below).

I'm unsure whether they immigrated from Ireland after marrying or if they immigrated separately with thier respective families and met/married in the US.

The 1870 WVA census lists a Mathis Hanley (b.c.1850, Ireland) living with them. Perhaps a brother of Bridget?

James (b.c. 1853, MD)
William (b.c. 1855, VA)
Mary (b.c.1856, MD)
Bridget (b.c.1857, MD)
Ellen (b.c. 1859, MD)
Catherine Joanna (b.c.1860, MD)
Sarah (b.c.1862, MD)
John D. (b. Feb 1865, WV)
Michael (b.c. 1867, WV)
Edward (b.c. 1869, WV)

I descend from John D. who married (1896) Hannah Knode (aka Canode) (1880-1962).

Any information on the parentage of John and Bridget or information on decendants is appreciated.

Jim Garrett
