My Grandfather was Bernard J. Fahey of Roscommon. He died about 1954 in West Orange, NJ at about 80. He was married to Anna Marie Seavers. She was of Galway. So her married name was Anna Marie Fahey, very close to the name of that poor girl that was murdered in Delaware a few years ago. A cousin of mine named Richard in upstate New York also married an Anne Marie. My grandparents had Thomas, Edward, Richard, (still here at 94) Robert and my Father Raymond Francis Fahey, born in 1916, died in 2001. The family home was occupied in Brackloon, Westmeath, I believe is the correct name, until about 1996 by my Father's aunt Winifred Fahey. She had numerous siblings whose names I am not certain about, James was one, Patrick another. The children of one of her brothers, my father's uncles, inherited the land but didn't want to bother with it and I believe squatters moved into the home. A group of my family have plans to visit Ireland and the property next summer, 2005. I am Dennis born 1947, Brothers are Brian b. 1941, Raymond Jr. 1943 and Kevin, 1951. My grandfather's (Bernard Joseph) grandfather was also named Brian.
