My gr-grandfather Martin Fahey (1841-1917) married Bridget (1844-1912) Burke and lived in Cleveland Ohio. They were both born in Ireland, I would assume Galway but I am not sure exactlt where.
You can search on line the passenger lists from the Brig Napoleon and the Brig Cushla Macree both of which left Galway in 1849. I remember there was a Barthy (Barty) Fahy listed, as well as Martin and Bridget Burke, I do not think they are mine as they are listed as 18 y/o, they would have been much younger.
