Fahey family in Lowell, Mass.

I am looking for information regarding the Fahey family that emigrated to Lowell, Mass., probably in the late 1800s. All I know is that my grandfather Fahey may have come from Galway area or Waterford area and his wife, Alice Cuff (or Cough) from either of those areas. He was a goldleaf artisan (worked on the dome in Boston, supposedly). They he had six children, Joseph, John, Patrick, Mary, Tommy and Edmund and Ed was the only one who married (he was my father). Not much to go on but maybe someone can make a connection.
