My father, Raymond Francis Fahey's family lived in, I believe Athlone, Brackloon, Westmeath until about 1995.

His aunt Winifred lived on Property in Westmeath, I belive, until she passed in about 1995. The land is currently being squatted upon by the neighbors cows as Patrick's children (oldest son was Patrick)in England, had no interest, according to a local Barrister my father contacted on a trip over there in the late 80's or early 1990's.

His Father, one of about eight boys and girls, brothers James, Patrick, Thoamas, etc was born there, Bernard Joseph Fahey about 1885, emigrated to New Jersey and married Anna Marie Seavers from Mayo, I believe. So many referred to my grandmother, who died rather young, long before my father even married, as Ann Marie Fahey, the same as that poor girl murdered in Delaware about 10 years ago.

Bernards's grandfather or great grandfather was Brian which lead my parents to name my oldest brother Brian. My Uncles were Thomas, Edward, Richard, Robert Emmet. All lived in and were raised in Orange and West Orange New Jersey. Uncle Dick is still with us at about 94. He lives alone and occassionally drives himself but he is not supposed to do so.
