I have alot of information on my ancestors I just don't have the information on where in Ireland they came from...if any of this sounds familiar to anyone please contact me!
Margaret Burns Elliott married John Fahey on January 28 1852 at St. Patrick's Pro-Cathedral in Newark NJ. John received his American citizenship on October 10, 1853 his name was written down incorrectly as Fee. They had owned a farm in Chatam, NJ. They had five children Mary Ellen, Bernard, Margaret, Kate, and Rose. Margaret married Albert Robshaw and had one son, an Albert Jr. It is believed that Mary Ellen and Kate became nuns for the Sisters of Charity and were posted "out west." I have the most information on John and Margeret's daughter Rose. She was born October 5, 1869 her middle name was Cecillia, she died on June 9, 1952. She married a German man named Frank Reichert on April 27 1892 together they had 6 children. I have more information and some pictures as well. I'm trying to find other relatives and to see if there's anyone directly related to me still in Ireland as I will be moving there next year to be with my fiance who lives in Ulster...any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!!
