As I said I don't know if Ann Faler is the wife of my Thomas Dillon unless you can confirm the place of birth as Whiston, Lancs, England.
Alternatively, I need more information on their two sons John and Isaac. One census says John was born in New York and this is also what a great aunt of mine believes, and another census says he was born in Canada, his brother Isaac however, according to census, was born in Canada but where I don't know. Could it be that Thomas and Ann lived very close to the border or either side of it?
I can't find any record of their marriage in British records so I wonder if they sailed together but got married abroad.
As you can see I need all the help I can get to establish why they were in America/Canada in the first place, so all info will be very much appreciated.
