Hi Melanie.

I have the following notes from my geneology that may help you.

Dr. J.E. Ferringer, Stoneboro, Pa. (Pittsburgh Med. School)
Says he is of German descent.
Father's name: Israel
Gr. Father's name: John (settled Clarion Co.)

Knew his name had been spelled differently and that family originally came from central or eastern part of Pa. (1933)

I have taken these notes from a postcard written by the Dr. to my grandfather in 1933.

Hope it helps!

Sallie
