Hi Lorna, Just wondering if you've ever figured out which group of Fairbairns my ancestor John Fairbairn, born 1812 Roxburgh, married 1841 Bovina, NY State, to Elizabeth Miller of Castleton and Hawick, died 1892 in NY State, father listed on death certificate as Walter Fairbairn. John and Elizabeth's children were Walter, Francis Miller, James, Jarvis, and John Francis.
