Greetings

I'm interested in a different James Fairbairn to the ones so far appearing: a James Fairbairn of Oldhamstocks, East Lothian who married my great great aunt Sophia Johnston in 1855. They are both buried in Fogo churchyard. Their children were George (b1857), Elizabeth (b1863), James (b1867) and Sophia (b1869). Sophia before her marriage was in domestic service to the Revd Proudfoot, and then some years later her daughter Elizabeth also took up the same position in Fogo before marrying and leaving. I'd be pleased to hear from anyone related, or with any further information on this branch of the Fairbairns.

Pete
