Sons of charles Fairbairn and Mary Bate

My great great grandfather, Charles (1842-1898), came to USA with sister Celia. Ended up in Pennsylvania. He married Mary Bate. Their children were Charles, Mary, George, William, Archibald, and my grandfather, Thomas Purdie fairbairn. Some of the sons migrated to Stockton, Calif. My grandfather ended up in Fresno, where he changed his name to Fairburn. I am wondering if anyone out there can trace their roots back to one of the other sons or daughters of Charles? Mary Bate's father, William T. Bate, came to USA in 1860 and set up a boiler foundry in Philadelphia. He was married to Elizabeth George. They were from Cornwall England.
