That is what makes the world go round! The only living grandchild of William Dinn Fairbairn (my mother-in-law Emma Louise, daughter of James Fairbairn) is now about 86 years old. Her brother married her husband's sister (brother and sister marrying brother and sister). The sister-in-law seems reluctant to part with any information on either side of the family.
But there are a few of us checking, double-checking and rechecking. One of these days we will get through that proverbial brick wall. I have saying about brick walls: if you can't go through it, go over it. If you can't go over it, go around it. If you can't do any of those, just sit there long enough and it will FALL down! How's that for optimism?
Please keep my name and e-mail address (Pat Almquist = firstname.lastname@example.org) because sooner or later, you, or I, or someone else WILL tie this all together.
Thanks for your prompt response.
