Bambi, We may be distantly related. My earliest is Alexander Fairbairn b 1722 don't know where or who his parents were. The first I have of him was in Laurens Co.,S C he died June 15, 1798 in Laurens Co. S C One wife was Cristinia Bennett Langston b 1737 died July 16, 1781 Union Co. S C.One of their children was Letitia Mc Crary b 1775 died April 29, 1849 one of their children was Dentist James N M Fairbairn my greatgrandfather on my fathers side. He was born 1818, Laurens Co., S C died after September 19, 1898 near Kosse, Texas.
I have this line to the present. I have checked a lot of ships but have found nothing. He could have been from canada. Do you have anything on this line?
