Berwickshire Archibalds - a DNA match

Cynthia (whose rather old email address bounces) and Carol,
It rather looks like we may share a very distant FAIRBAIRN ancestor.

The Fairbairn Surname DNA project
http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/f/fairbairn/results.html
has thrown up a 36 out of 37 marker match between one of my cousins, and a chap I suspect is a descendant of Archibald FAIRBAIRN and Mary GRIERSON/GIESSEN/GRIESSON.
My assumption is that the match is with a son of Thomas Purdie FAIRBAIRN, but he hasn't replied.

Have either of you got further back that Archibald and Mary who had a son Archibald bap. Whitsome and Hilton Berwickshire in 1784?
Regards
Lorna
