Yet another match from the FAIRBAIRN Surname DNA Project.

Another kit has been processed, and much to our surprise, shows an exact match (37 out of 37 markers) between the descendants of:
Archibald FAIRBAIRN and Mary GRIERSON of St Boswells
and
William FAIRBAIRN and Jean WANLESS of Quebec.
(and by implication, also of David FAIRBAIRN and Jane WILLIAMSON, David and William being brothers).
Exactly how the two families connect is open to conjecture, but what is known is shown on the Patriarchs page at
