Daniel,
I've just found your message.
Did you find what you were looking for?
Where did you find John A's mother was an Agnes WILLIAMSON?
I'd dearly love to know how this family accurately connects to another of my FAIRBAIRN families.
John A and Sarah's grandson Walter A FAIRBAIRN married his "cousin" Clarissa FAIRBAIRN.
Cousin appears to be a loose term as Walter shows up in the 1920 census in Orange Co, California as "cousin" of David FAIRBAIRN (Clarissa's father), and in 1910 David is shown as "cousin" of William George (Walter's father).
I have variable info on John A's birth, you probably have much the same:
1870 census shows him as 35 born Canada (West)
1862 marriage (Ontario) Grenville and implies c 1839
1900 says Apr 1842, Canada (East)
Do you have any sort of age/place information for the parents John and Agnes?
Regards
Lorna
