Don't suppose the family bible says where in Scotland he was born? His obit says Glasgow and I"m trying to figure out how (un)likely that is.

My repetitive refrain is "I'd love to be put in contact with a male FAIRBAIRN descendant of this lot".
Particularly one willing to join the FAIRBAIRN surname DNA project
(very good discounts available until the end of September should anyone be interested in representing their line)

I would rather like to "prove" the linkage I show from Robert back to Archibald, as it is somewhat tentative.
