The latest set of results in have indeed shown that the Hoquiam FAIRBAIRNs are very likely to be descendants of the Quebec family of David and Jane (WILLIAMSON) FAIRBAIRN.

If you are a male FAIRBAIRN interested in your family history you would be most welcome to join the project to represent your line, or provide corroboration on lines represented by only one participant to date.

The main lineage now has 9 matching participants, with very few paper trails connecting them.

The Wanted! pages
have also been updated to include an outline tree for Thomas and Elspeth (WOOD) FAIRBAIRN, (with the help of Norma and Earline).
Only those lines likely to produce an eligible participant are shown on the chart.

Check out the FAIRBAIRN (and variant) Surname DNA project
for the latest results, and the project diary
for breaking news.
