I have been trying to make progress in tracing the line of my 4GtGrandfather William Fairbairn(s) who married Mary Dixon on 21 Sep 1795 at Pontefract St Giles. I believe that this couple had nine children and I am descended from the seventh, George Fairbairns. The children that I have are :
Isabel cir 1796
William cir 1798
Joseph cir 1801 - 1803
Jane cir 1803
Thomas cir 1805 - 1874
Sarah cir 1808 - 1808
George 16 May 1810 - 2 Nov 1887, married Hannah Lightfoot
John cir 1818
Joseph cir 1826
I am keen to hear from anyone that has any corrections or additions to this or is related in some way.
