Trying to trace the family of my Great Uncle Walter Fairbairn. He had 3 daughters. Walter was the son of John and Margaret Fairbairn. His sisters were Mary Emily, Margaret Grey. His brothers were Thomas and John.

Walter served in the Royal Artillery in WW1 and spent most of his time in France. He won the Military Medal and the Distinguished Conduct Medal. After the war he returned to Newcastle and was a bus inspector in Blythe.
