Euphemia appears to have married a George McKAY and died at East Rainton Fence Houses, Co DUR in 1885, aged 45.
She, her brother Thomas and parents John F. and Janet LYALL are commemorated at Yetholm, according to the transcriptions available from the Borders Family History Society. Thomas however is given as dying at Dalkeith, aged 55 in 1871.
Either you or I have finger trouble re John's death, you've 1858 I've 1869.
My interest was in trying to trace a John FAIRBAIRN born c 1799, s/o Archibald FAIRBAIRN and Alison CROSSER.
