My mom is a Fairbrother. Her grandfather's name is Benjamin Alfred Fairbrother married to Hattie. Her Dad was Alfred Fairbrother, married to Eugenia. From what I can tell Benjamin and his wife Hattie were not his biological parents. He was born to a Hattie Fairbrother when she was 29, (there is an 11 year difference with the Hattie's age's). It appears she lived on an Indian reservation in Penobscot, ME and worked as a servant for John Davis. I just stared looking into my family history but I am positive there are strong ties to the Fairbrothers in ME. If I can help in your search in any way I will be glad to help. Who knows maybe we are somehow related!
