Hello all,
I'm looking for information about my husband's family, the Fairweathers from Edinburgh. Here's what I know:
John Fairweather m. Anne Cormack (d.1962)and had these children:
John (missionary to Africa, never married)
Stanley
Alexander Cormack(b. 1905, emigrated to Canada in in 1929, m Glenna Norrad of Sussex, N.B. in 1936, had Anne Louise and John Alexander (b. 1951 - my husband))
A daughter nicknamed "Bunty"
A daughter nicknamed "Nessie"
I have some info on these siblings, names of their spouses and children, but no dates. So that would be nice, and what I'm really looking for is ancestors of John Fairweather, and some background on his family.
I hope I've phrased all this correctly, I've just recently been bitten by the geanealogy bug, and may not have the lingo down yet!
