My mother was George Fairweather's wife!! They were neighbors and were married on 27 Jan 1937 at St. Cecilia's Church in Greenpoint, Brooklyn by Rev. E. McGolrick. The witnesses were Thomas Dooley and Henrietta Fairweather (is she the same person as Harriet or is she someone else?). They lived on Sutton Street (#63 I believe). They were divorced in 1945.
Do you have any info on George's prison record or the trial? I am so interested in that. Do you have any info on his death? Mom felt he was murdered. Is that true? Is Harriet still alive?
